Ingredients
  

  • 1 15-ounce box angel food cake mix
  • 1 21-ounce can strawberry pie filling
  • 1 cup crushed fresh strawberries optional, for extra fruitiness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup shredded coconut optional, for texture
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting, optional
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix it up! In a large mixing bowl, stir together the angel food cake mix, strawberry pie filling, crushed strawberries, and vanilla extract until just combined. The batter will be light and fluffy—don’t overmix!
  • Dump and bake. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle shredded coconut on top if using.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and slightly crisp. The cake will puff up beautifully while baking.
  • Cool & serve. Let the cake cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
