Equipment

  • 1 9" x 13" baking dish or pan

Ingredients

  • 1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree
  • 1 12-ounce can evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Trust me, preheating is not optional!
  • Grease a 9” x 13” baking dish. This is your canvas, darling.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves until well combined. Pour this mixture into the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture. No stirring—just dump and go!
  • Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top. Make sure it covers as much of the cake mix as possible. This is where the magic happens.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool slightly, then serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy your little slice of fall heaven!
