Equipment

  • 1 standard-sized 12-cavity muffin tin
  • 12 cupcake liners optional

Ingredients
  

  • 2 - Mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 box - Yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup - Chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup - Unsalted butter sliced into 12 pats

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Lightly grease muffin tin cavities, or line with cupcake liners
  • Divide mashed bananas among muffin tin cups.
  • Sprinkle yellow cake mix over the bananas.
  • Add chopped walnuts on top of the cake mix.
  • Place a small slice of butter on each cup.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the tops are golden and bubbly
