Ingredients
  

  • 1 21-ounce can apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 6 strips cooked, crumbled bacon (go ahead, sneak a bite)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional, but you deserve it

Instructions
 

  • Preheat and Bacon Bliss: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Dump the apple pie filling into a 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it out.
  • Drizzle and Crumble: Drizzle the maple syrup over the apples. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly on top, then drizzle the melted butter all over. Top with crumbled bacon and pecans if you’re feeling nutty.
  • Bake and Devour: Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Let it cool slightly before serving to avoid burning your eager tongue.
