1 15.25-ounce box chocolate cake mix 1 3.9-ounce package instant chocolate pudding mix 1 ¾ cups milk 1 16-ounce jar hot fudge sauce warmed slightly 1 ½ cups chocolate chips 1 cup water ½ cup butter melted Optional: Vanilla ice cream for serving
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the chocolate cake mix evenly over the pudding layer (do not stir).
Drizzle the hot fudge sauce over the cake mix.
Scatter the chocolate chips on top.
Pour the water and melted butter over the entire mixture.
