  • 1 medium mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15.25-ounce box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 3.9-ounce package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 ¾ cups milk
  • 1 16-ounce jar hot fudge sauce warmed slightly
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • Optional: Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate cake mix evenly over the pudding layer (do not stir).
  • Drizzle the hot fudge sauce over the cake mix.
  • Scatter the chocolate chips on top.
  • Pour the water and melted butter over the entire mixture.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is set but the inside is still gooey.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving. For extra indulgence, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
