1 box cinnamon cake mix 1 15-ounce can apple pie filling ½ cup maple syrup the real stuff, not the pancake syrup 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted 2 apples peeled, cored, and sliced 1 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional Caramel sauce for drizzling
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
