This Cotton Candy Dream Dump Cake is a sweet, whimsical dessert bursting with pastel colors and childhood nostalgia. With layers of fluffy cake, melted marshmallows, and a hint of that unmistakable carnival flavor, it’s pure magic in every bite!
1 1/2cupscotton candy-flavored frostingstore-bought or homemade
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2cuppink and blue cotton candyfor topping
Optional: rainbow sprinklesedible glitter
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry gelatin mix evenly over the bottom of the dish.
Add the marshmallows in an even layer.
In a bowl, mix together the vanilla cake mix, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until just combined (it’ll be thick).
Dollop the mixture over the marshmallows and gently spread it out.
Drop spoonfuls of cotton candy frosting over the top. Do not stir.
Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let cool for at least 15 minutes. Top with bits of cotton candy, sprinkles, and edible glitter right before serving (don’t add cotton candy too early or it’ll melt!).
