Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix because we’re fabulous AND practical
  • 1 cup sour cream for that tangy moisture
  • 1/2 cup milk whatever you have in the fridge works
  • 3 large eggs preferably without cracking them on the floor
  • 1/2 cup melted butter the key to happiness
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed with love
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon or more if you're feeling spicy

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and try not to get distracted by your phone for 20 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, throw in your cake mix, sour cream, milk, eggs, and melted butter. Mix it up until it’s smoother than your best dance moves.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon—aka the dynamic duo.
  • Pour half of your batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Don’t worry about being perfect, we’re not on a cooking show.
  • Sprinkle half of your brown sugar mixture like you're sprinkling fairy dust—magic is happening, people!
  • Pour the rest of the batter on top and finish it off with the remaining sugar-cinnamon goodness. It's a sugar shower, and we're all invited.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. If it doesn't, just call it extra gooey and delicious!
  • Let it cool (if you can resist) before serving yourself a slice of cinnamon heaven.
