Ingredients
  

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate gelt coins or chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup optional, for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Scatter chocolate gelt coins and crushed peppermint over the base of the dish.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix on top, then pour milk, melted butter, and peppermint extract evenly over everything.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the cake is set and chocolatey.
  • Drizzle with chocolate syrup, let cool, and serve.
