Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spoon the crushed pineapple evenly over the cherry pie filling.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. If using, sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving. It's delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
