Spread the blueberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spoon the crushed pineapple (with its juice) evenly over the blueberry pie filling.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. If using, sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped nuts on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving. It’s delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
