This Black Russian Dump Cake is like a cocktail and a dessert had a scandalous love affair—deep, dark, and deliciously boozy. With rich chocolate, Kahlúa, and vodka mingling under a buttery cake topping, this is the dump cake that will have your guests wondering if they should eat it or sip it!
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Mix the booze: In a bowl, whisk together the Kahlúa and vodka, then pour it evenly over the cherry layer.
Prepare the pudding: In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until slightly thickened. Spread it over the cherry and booze layers.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over everything—no stirring!
Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, making sure most of the surface is covered.
Scatter the chocolate chips on top because there’s no such thing as too much chocolate.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is set and slightly crisp.
Let it cool slightly before serving with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
