  • 1 small bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg optional, but fancy!
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce optional but delicious

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the mashed bananas evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the bananas, covering them completely.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
  • In a small bowl, mix the walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the top.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before drizzling caramel sauce over the top. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
