3 ripe bananas mashed 1 box yellow cake mix 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg optional, but fancy! 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup caramel sauce optional but delicious
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the mashed bananas evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the bananas, covering them completely.
Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
In a small bowl, mix the walnuts, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the top.
Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
