  • 1 9" x 13" baking dish or pan

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe bananas sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rum optional, but highly recommended
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter up a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Layer the banana slices in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and drizzle with rum if using.
  • Pour the dry cake mix evenly over the banana layer. Scatter the bacon bits over the top. Try not to snack on all the bacon before it goes in the dish.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix and bacon. Get every nook and cranny.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly, then serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Or both. Because you deserve it.
