Ingredients
  

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1 box cinnamon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly on the base of the pan.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon cake mix over the apples, then pour apple cider and melted butter on top without stirring.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the top, followed by walnuts if desired.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until golden and bubbling. Let it cool slightly before serving.
