  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread coconut pecan frosting in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle German chocolate cake mix evenly over the frosting.
  • Top with shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is set and golden.

Notes

After cooling, top cake with additional coconut pecan frosting, if desired.
